CAFCS Executive Board Members

Dr. Kinley earned a Ph.D. from Texas Tech in Merchandising and is currently Professor of Merchandising and Associate Dean in the College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism at the University of North Texas.

Mrs. Rita Fleming is an Assistant Professor/ Extension Specialist of Health Education, Director
of Community Outreach and the Interim Program Leader for Family and Consumer Sciences in
the Department of Human Sciences in the College of Agriculture at Tennessee State University.

Allisen Penn is the Associate Dean and State Program Leader for Extension and Outreach in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia.

Dr. Newman is a Professor and the Director of Staff Development, Extension Planning, and Evaluation in the School of Human Sciences at Mississippi State University.

Danita L. Brookins is the Western Region Program Leader for Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture.

Nina Roofe earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics with an emphasis in Dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas in 1990. She completed the dietetic internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1991 and began a career in clinical dietetics and management.
